Carrier-class ATM NTU

ACE-50 ensures carriers end-to-end control of STM-1/OC-3 ATM services. It is a carrier-class device used to extend the operator's ability to monitor traffic and assure maintenance up to the customer premises.

Smooth and flexible connectivity between user and public network

As an ATM NTU, ACE-50 enables smooth and flexible connectivity between a user network and the public network. It allows carriers to guarantee Quality of Service (QoS) by collecting and measuring traffic flow. This provides physical and basic ATM layer performance information and end-to-end network control. ACE-50 collects and processes various statistics from the physical layer (SDH/SONET) such as performance error detection. In addition, basic QoS measurements from the ATM layer are monitored and stored.

Simple Installation, No Pre-Configuration

To make the field installation as simple as possible, no pre-configuration is required. ACE-50 can be configured remotely after it is connected to the public network at the customer premises. The unique plug-and-play feature enables quick centralized configuration upgrades.

Supporting multiple connections

To improve network management capabilities, ACE-50 supports multiple connections for inband management and software download. This enables the creation of redundant network management topologies.
